Martha established BMC courses over 30 years ago. She graduated from the Association Montessori Internationale (AMI) in 1976, originally founded by Dr Montessori. Martha has many years experience working with children in a variety of Montessori Children's Houses in London and the South West. Martha has been an Ofsted Early Years Inspector; is now a Montessori Education (UK) Assessor/Mentor and is a trustee of Montessori Education (UK), the body responsible for accrediting authentic Montessori in the UK.

Senior Practical Tutor
Laura graduated from BMC in 2009 after changing direction from the Arts. She quickly became the Deputy in our Children's House and studied to be an Early Years Professional and Special Education Needs Co-ordinator. Laura is also a Montessori Education (UK) Assessor.

Workshop Leader
Louise graduated from BMC in 2003. She became our Children's House manager (birth to six) in 2009 and is also the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL). Louise uses her experience to lead workshops for students on 'Nursery Management'.
Charlotte Warren (third from the right)

Director & General Manager
Charlotte has worked at BMC and has over 30 years of experience working with children.
She graduated from Bournemouth Montessori Centre in 1995 and is now the General Manager and Director of the Centre.
Charlotte is responsible for the administration of the Centre as a whole. She is a trustee of Montessori Education (UK), the body responsible for accrediting authentic Montessori in the UK.

Nursery Administrator
Nuccia originally studied 3D Design before travelling through the Caribbean and America working in Montessori schools and completed her Montessori Diploma.
After running several Montessori nurseries Nuccia established her own school in Lymington in the heart of the New Forest and she founded her own company, Montessori Design by Nuccia was started out of a love for making Montessori equipment for her own school. Nuccia has been working at BMC for 15 years.

Lauren has been part of the Bournemouth Montessori Centre office team since 2021. She will qualify with her Montessori Diploma this year, and has experienced firsthand the incredible impact of the Montessori method—not just professionally, but also as a parent, with both of her children attending BMC. Whether she is assisting prospective students, current learners, or families exploring Montessori for the first time, she loves being able to help and make the process as smooth and welcoming as possible.
