Established in 1992, Bournemouth Montessori Centre has over three decades of experience delivering authentic, affordable Montessori teacher training. For more than 30 years, we have built a proven track record of student success, preparing learners not just to qualify, but to thrive in real Early Years settings. Our graduates are highly regarded by employers and are often offered employment before they even complete their course.

Training is delivered in small, supportive groups by highly qualified staff with extensive Montessori and Early Years experience. Our approach combines strong theoretical foundations with hands-on, real-life practice, ensuring students graduate with confidence, competence, and a deep understanding of child-centred education.

Our Montessori and Early Years Educator course is taught over one-academic-year, offers a blended learning programme and combines face-to-face teaching with online learning for flexibility and support. We offer two part-time study options:

• January intake: Tuesday and Thursday evenings
• September intake: Monday and Wednesday mornings

This qualification opens pathways into a wide range of roles, including Montessori Educator, Early Years Practitioner, Nursery Manager or Owner, SENCO, Montessori Childminder, further Montessori or Early Years study, and opportunities to teach abroad. There are no formal entry requirements — just a passion for children and learning.

Bournemouth Montessori Centre is based in a spacious and airy Victorian villa, with large, sunlit rooms and an established Montessori-accredited nursery at its heart. Located in Bournemouth town centre, we are within walking distance of beautiful beaches, close to countryside, and just 10 minutes from the train and bus station. London is only 100 minutes away by direct rail link.
