King's Castle Montessori School are looking to employ a Montessori Directress, preferably full time, but would consider part time, to work in our fun and vibrant nursery in the Tuckton area of Bournemouth.

As a passionate Montessorian you will inspire the children to fulfil their desires and dreams whilst working amongst a dedicated team of practitioners.

Experienced Nursery Key Worker (NVQ3) required for immediate start.

NVQ3 or equivalent essential. Safeguarding level 3 preferred – if not, training will be given.

A Montessori background would be an advantage although not essential as training can be given in-house.

A DBS check will be required.

This is initially a term-time only position. However, from September 2018 the nursery will be opening all -year-round which will involve some work during the holiday periods, and could potentially lead to a year-round working contract.

The nursery is open 08.30 to 18.00 Monday to Friday. Initially the position is likely to be up to 4 working days per week, but we require a high degree of flexibility to increase or decrease hours as needed.

The hourly rate will be in the region of £9.00/hr dependent on qualifications and experience.

Candidates should be highly motivated with the ability to plan and lead activities for a group of key children. You will occasionally be required to act as Safeguarding Lead for the nursery in the absence of the Nursery Principal.

You should have excellent people and communication skills and the confidence to address parents appropriately.

OPEN POSITION – Director of Early Years and Elementary Education

Valencia, Spain

Imagine Montessori School, located in Valencia, is looking to hire a Director of Early Years and Elementary (3 to 12 years old children) Education, to join-in immediately. Candidate is expected to be assertive, warm, positive and organised, with the ability to lead a dynamic and motivated team. Native or fluent in English, the candidate will also bring a passion for education and a creative approach to achieve our School‘s vision. Among the candidate’s responsibilities are: leading academic coordinators and teachers team, ensuring authentic Montessori practice throughout our programs while meeting or exceeding British curriculum. Building relationships and engaging with staff, students and our diverse multi-cultural community are important elements of the role.

“Must have” characteristics for the role:

  • Montessori qualification at Elementary level

OPEN POSITION – MONTESSORI CHILDREN’S HOUSE TEACHER (3 to 6 years old)

Imagine Montessori School, located in Valencia, is looking to hire a certified Montessori Guide for a Children House class (3 to 6 years old). Candidate is expected to be enthusiastic, warm, creative, caring, positive and poised, with ability to work as part of a dynamic team. Native or fluent in English, the candidate should also be committed to María Montessori principles.

“Must have” characteristics for the role:

  • Montessori guide certification
  • 1-2 years’ experience as Montessori guide

Nursery bank staff required for immediate start, potentially leading to a permanent post for the right candidate.

An outstanding setting based in a lovely wooded environment in Rushcombe 1st School grounds, Hanham Road, Corfe Mullen, Wimborne, BH21 3PX. We are registered to accept 40 children from 2 - 5 years. Our opening hours are 8.30 – 6.00 Mon – Fri all year round.

A small, high quality setting based in a lovely natural environment in Hayeswood 1st School grounds, Cutlers Place, Colehill, Wimborne, BH21 2HN. We are registered to accept 25 children from 2 - 5 years. Our opening hours are 8.45 – 4.00 Mon – Fri term time only.

We are urgently seeking a highly flexible and versatile person to act as bank staff for both of our 2 nursery settings covering for staff training, holidays and sickness. Qualifications are not essential as in-house training will be given, but experience in a similar role or knowledge of child development would be an advantage. An enhanced hourly rate would be offered to practitioners with a relevant NVQ3 or above.

Excellent people and communication skills with the confidence to address parents when required are essential for this role. An Enhanced DBS check will also be required.

We may offer a permanent post to the right candidate should recent increases in the numbers of children registering to attend with us continue. We may also consider supporting a permanent recruitment through NVQ3 training should this be of interest.
